Loving God, You chose Catherine McAuley for the service of your people who are poor, sick and uneducated. You inspired her to found the Sisters of Mercy so that these good works might endure. Give to each of us a portion of her compassionate spirit and an ardent desire to serve your suffering people.

Bless all our undertakings and grant that union and charity may always thrive among us.

Graciously, hear our prayer for Catherine and by granting the favors we ask through her intercession, hasten the day when her sanctity will be celebrated by all the Church. Amen.

Conference Keynote Speaker : Sr. Angela Perez

Sister Mary Angela Perez was one of three presenters at the Catholic Schools Educators’ Conference held at the Mariott Hotel Ballroom on January 31, 2013. The conference capped the week-long celebration of Catholic Schools Week in the Archdiocese of Agaña. Addressing the third part of the conference theme “Community of Faith, Knowledge and Service”, Sister Angela engaged Guam’s Catholic educators in a powerful presentation demonstrating the connectivity in the variety of ways educators serve through prayer, in various ministries, and in compassionate love for people and care for earth. Sister Angela acknowledged and congratulated the educators for the tremendous work and sacrifices they make. With a blessing prayer Sister Angela left the participants with a quiet sense of peace.
