Loving God, You chose Catherine McAuley for the service of your people who are poor, sick and uneducated. You inspired her to found the Sisters of Mercy so that these good works might endure. Give to each of us a portion of her compassionate spirit and an ardent desire to serve your suffering people.

Bless all our undertakings and grant that union and charity may always thrive among us.

Graciously, hear our prayer for Catherine and by granting the favors we ask through her intercession, hasten the day when her sanctity will be celebrated by all the Church. Amen.

Saint Anthony Catholic School Update

Saint Anthony Catholic School was recently granted a 6-year dual accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). Present at the conferring of the award last September 21, 2012 were: Sister Mary Rose Elliot, SACS Curriculum Coordinator, Msgr. Brigido “Bibi” Arroyo, pastor of Saint Anthony Parish, Sister Doris San Agustin, SACS principal and Mrs. Cynthia Agbulos, Superintendent of Catholic Schools. Congratulations, Saint Anthony Catholic School!

The Saint Anthony Catholic School Campus Ministry group led the school in the prayer service to celebrate Mercy Day, last September 21, 2012.
